Crash is a shared multiplayer round: everyone bets on the same curve. When the round starts, a multiplier climbs from 1.00× and keeps climbing until it crashes at a point that was fixed (and cryptographically committed on-chain) before the round began. Cash out before the crash and your bet is multiplied by the value at your cash-out. If you wait too long, the round crashes with your bet still in and you lose your stake. Every round lives on the Solana blockchain: bets, the round start, the crash reveal, and payouts are all on-chain transactions.

How does a Crash round work?

  1. A new round opens. The backend creates the round on-chain. Once the round account is confirmed, betting opens.
  2. You place your bet. During the betting window you choose your stake and, optionally, an auto cash-out target. Once the round has its first confirmed bets, a countdown starts so everyone else can join.
  3. Betting closes. When the countdown ends (plus a short grace window for last-second bets), no more bets are accepted and the start transaction is sent on-chain.
  4. The curve climbs. The multiplier starts at 1.00× and grows continuously. You can cash out manually at any moment while it’s climbing.
  5. Crash. The curve stops at the round’s crash point. Bets still in the round at that moment are lost. The secret behind the crash point is revealed on-chain.
  6. Payouts. Every bet in the round is settled on-chain in a single payout pass: winners are paid at their cash-out multiplier, and the round is archived. A new round begins right away.
While a round is playing you can already queue a bet for the next round; it is placed automatically as soon as the next betting window opens.

Round lifecycle

The diagram below shows the real round state machine, simplified to the phases you experience as a player: If a round is cancelled (for example after a blockchain error), it is voided and a fresh round starts. Bets queued for the next round are cleared when this happens; you’ll need to place them again.

How fast does the multiplier grow?

The displayed multiplier is a pure function of time since the round started:
In other words, the curve doubles every 10 seconds: The crash point itself is not time-based: it is fixed before the round starts, from a secret the operator commits on-chain plus a blockhash produced by the Solana network, with the house edge applied in the derivation. The curve is just the animation that walks up to it. See Crash fairness for how to verify any round yourself, and Fees & limits for the current house edge. A crash round: the betting window, the curve climbing from 1.00×, two cash-outs locking in wins along the way, and the crash point that was committed on-chain before the round began

How do you cash out?

There are two ways to lock in a win:
  • Manual cash-out. Press the cash-out button while the round is running. The server computes your multiplier from the exact time your request is received, not from what your screen shows, so a laggy connection can cost you a few hundredths.
  • Auto cash-out. Set a target multiplier when you place the bet. If the round reaches your target and you haven’t cashed out manually before that, you are settled at exactly your target.
Instead of a numeric target, the auto cash-out can be switched to ∞ (the infinite multiplier). An infinity-mode bet has no auto cash-out target: it rides the curve for as long as the round lasts, and only a manual cash-out settles it. If the crash comes first, the stake is lost like any other bet still in. Two backstops still settle the bet automatically rather than let a win slip away: the per-bet payout cap (see Game limits) and the auto cash-out’s own 10,000× ceiling, whichever the curve reaches first. In the live bets table and your history, an infinity-mode bet shows ∞ as its target. Rules that apply to both:
  • A manual cash-out takes precedence over your auto cash-out target. If you press the button at 1.50× with an auto target of 3.00×, you settle at 1.50×.
  • The minimum cash-out multiplier is 1.01× (the on-chain minimum).
  • A cash-out at or above the crash point is rejected: you cannot cash out of a round that has already crashed.
  • Each bet can only cash out once.
  • If the round crashes before your auto target and you never cashed out manually, the bet is lost.
Cancelling during the betting window: if your bet is still queued it is simply removed. If it has already been confirmed on-chain, it cannot be voided anymore; instead it is settled at the on-chain minimum of 1.01×.

Fairness and limits

  • The crash point is provably fair: committed before betting opens, revealed on-chain at crash, and verifiable by anyone. Full details and a step-by-step verification guide in Crash fairness and Verify a round.
  • Minimum and maximum bet sizes, maximum profit per bet, and the current house edge are listed in Game limits and Fees & limits.
