How do you play Dice?
- Set your win chance. Use the slider to choose how likely you want to win, anywhere from 2% to 98%.
- Pick a direction. Bet that the roll lands under or over your target number.
- Roll. A number between 0.00 and 99.99 is drawn on-chain (10,000 equally likely outcomes). You win if it lands on your side of the target:
- Under wins when the roll is below the target.
- Over wins when the roll is above the target.
- Get paid. A win pays your stake times the quoted multiplier, settled immediately.
How is a Dice payout calculated?
The multiplier applies the house edge to the true odds:multiplier_bps = (10000 − edge_bps) × 10000 / win_chance_bps, so rounding is deterministic and never in the player’s favor by error.)
Worked examples at the current 1.5% house edge (see Fees & limits for the canonical live value):
The return-to-player is uniform across every allowed setting:
win chance × multiplier ≈ 98.5% at the current 1.5% house edge, whether you play it safe at 98% or hunt the 49× at 2%.
Fairness
The roll is derived from a hash that mixes a Solana slot hash (public network entropy the operator does not control and cannot predict when submitting the bet) with your account and a per-bet counter. Every bet emits an on-chain event carrying all the inputs, so anyone can recompute the roll and check the payout, not just you, and not only after the fact. Full derivation and a verification walkthrough: Dice fairness.Limits
- Bets are bounded by the table minimum and maximum.
- Profit on a single bet is capped at the table maximum. If a win would exceed the cap, you are paid the cap. A capped win is still a win, and you always keep your stake.
